ESSENTIAL series uprights use a light gray surround around the power switch, and part 5161HG is that component for the ESSENTIAL G1, G2, G4 and G5. It anchors the switch cap to the housing and absorbs the pressing force that would otherwise land directly on the switch body.
Holders fail at their clip legs, which lets the cap rock in place or drop out entirely. Since the surround is what transfers foot pressure into the housing, a broken one shortens the life of the switch sitting behind it — so a cap that has fallen off twice is a holder problem, not a cap problem.
