The filter is a working component, not trim. Positioned on the exhaust side, it collects the fine particles that pass through the bag, and the state of that media decides how much resistance the airflow meets on the way out. Left in place season after season it takes more airflow out of the machine than any other single consumable. SEBO builds these to be swapped rather than serviced, so the whole assembly, fabric included, is discarded and replaced. Doing it at the same time as a bag change keeps the interval easy to remember and stops the job being put off indefinitely.
The prints are interchangeable on the machine, so matching the original is a choice rather than a requirement — light blue waves, 7095AM02, sits in the same colour family if the blossoms are no longer to your taste.

Servicing a FELIX Premium properly means thinking about three consumables rather than one: the bag, the pre-motor filter on the intake side, which is stocked as 7012AM, and this exhaust element.
