This genuine SEBO spring belongs to the axle adjustment assembly on the ET-1 and ET-2 power heads. It holds the adjustment mechanism that sets the height of the rear axle against the floor.
A tired or snapped spring lets the axle adjustment drift, so the power head no longer holds its selected height and brush contact becomes uneven. That shows up as inconsistent grooming or a nozzle that scrapes on one setting. Installing the correct spring returns crisp, repeatable height adjustment.
