This is the 14-inch squeegee tool for ProTeam's ProGuard wet/dry vacuums, a wand-mounted rubber blade built to pull water and debris off smooth flooring rather than agitate carpet.
Fits ProTeam ProGuard wet/dry vacuums with a 1-1/2 inch wand connection.
A squeegee tool works by drawing a clean rubber edge across the floor, and that edge is what wears with use, going soft, splitting at the corners, or picking up nicks that leave streaks of water behind instead of lifting it all. Once the blade stops sealing evenly against the floor, the tool starts pushing water around rather than collecting it, which defeats the purpose of running a wet pass in the first place. A blade that looks fine from a distance can still have lost its edge, since the wear that matters happens along the thin contact line rather than across the visible face of the rubber, so it is worth running a fingertip along the edge to feel for nicks before assuming the tool is still good.

It handles edges, corners, and tight spots around fixtures that a front-mount squeegee on the machine itself cannot reach, worth keeping in the kit even on units that already squeegee as they go. Rinse the blade after wet pickup work and let it dry flat rather than coiled, since rubber stored under a bend will start to hold that shape and lose its straight edge over time. Replacement blades are sold separately as part 100598, and a blade replaced at the first sign of a nick costs far less than the water damage a missed puddle can cause on the wrong flooring.
