The 503S is a 90-degree sweep ell spigot in steel for central vacuum pipe networks. Like the standard sweep ell, it carries the line through a long-radius 90-degree turn, but the spigot end is sized to insert directly into another fitting rather than accepting pipe — handy for tight fitting-to-fitting transitions where there is no room for a pipe stub between them.

Construction is 18-gauge carbon steel with a galvanized, zinc-plated finish, built to ASTM specifications. It is the metal-system counterpart to the spigot ells used in PVC vacuum installations, intended for commercial jobs and other settings that call for steel tubing.
