Suction Inlet - New Style, ...

Product details

Suction inlet, new-style, for Fuller Brush uprights, part 54.076. This is the moulded port that forms part of the sealed airflow path where the hose meets the body of the machine.

Two things go wrong with it. The plastic cracks around the mounting points, which opens a leak right at the top of the airflow path, and the sealing face wears so the connection no longer sits tight. Either one bleeds off suction before it reaches the nozzle, and a loose inlet will rattle audibly while the machine runs.

The new-style inlet differs from the earlier version, so compare the shape and mounting points against the part on your machine before ordering. Check the housing's sealing face for wear at the same time — a new inlet against a worn face will still leak.
