Complete switch assemblies save the guesswork when a switched power head goes dead. Part 2959ER arrives built up with the 2958ER lever and its leaf spring, the single pole switch 05114, and the 0881 wire that runs back to the PCB, so nothing has to be salvaged off the old unit at the bench.

SEBO shows the assembly at position 141 on the ET-1/ET-2 power head diagram, covering items 131 to 133, and at position 138 on the DART where it takes in items 139 to 141. Order it when the brush roll runs only while the button is held down, when the switch has stopped latching, or when the wire has broken away at the board end. Buying the group complete also sidesteps the awkward part of the job, which is transferring a wire onto a new switch body in a confined housing. The lens that covers the button is a separate moulding, part 2957, and is worth replacing at the same time if it has yellowed or cracked.
