Plastiflex Low-Voltage Swit...

Product details

This is the low-voltage switch repair kit for a Plastiflex pistol grip swivel hose, part SH130EFHR02. It replaces the switch built into the grip that closes the low-voltage circuit and signals a central vacuum power unit to turn on.

Plastiflex manufactures this 9302 series switch for use across several central vacuum brands rather than one, so it turns up in pistol-grip hoses badged for AirVac, Beam, NuTone, Vacuflo, M&S, and Wessel Werk. The hose housing and grip carry whichever brand name sold the system, but the switch mechanism itself is the same Plastiflex part underneath.

Wear on the internal contacts is what causes trouble here. A hose that needs to be squeezed or held at a certain angle before the unit responds, or one that will not start the unit at all while other hoses on the same system work fine, both point to this switch rather than anything at the wall inlet or power unit.

Note how the existing wires are connected before removing the old switch, since matching that layout is what gets the new one working correctly. The grip handle itself is a separate part and is not included in this kit.

  • Part: SH130EFHR02 low-voltage switch repair kit
  • Fits: Plastiflex pistol grip hoses used on AirVac, Beam, NuTone, Vacuflo, M&S, and Wessel Werk systems
  • Function: replaces the low-voltage switch that starts the power unit
  • Note: handle not included, note wiring positions before removing the old switch
