Part FMBP008304 belongs to Trovac's FMBP0083 line of tangential bypass electro-motors, this version built with a 2.25 in exhaust tube.

A tangential bypass motor keeps its cooling air on a path separate from the suction stream, entering the fan housing at an angle instead of straight through, so grit stays out of the windings. Trovac offers the FMBP0083 line with more than one exhaust tube length, and 2.25 in is the length on this particular build. Motors in this line are meant to be swapped as a complete unit rather than opened up for repair, so once the bearings or brushes reach the end of their life a fresh motor is the standard fix rather than a rebuild.
