Part FMCY350301 is a tangential motor for central vacuum power units, fitted with a 7 in exhaust tube, the longest tube length Trovac offers on this particular motor.

A tangential design draws cooling air for the motor along a path that enters at an angle around the fan, apart from the suction stream carrying debris through the piping. The 7 in tube routes exhaust further from the motor deck than the shorter builds of this motor, which matters on housings where the outlet sits well away from where the motor mounts. A longer exhaust run also means the tube is doing more work to carry that air cleanly to the outlet, so a kinked or poorly seated tube on installation will show up as reduced airflow even with a good motor.
