Stainless steel telescoping wand, supplied complete and ready to fit: 6237ER replaces the extending tube across a wide span of SEBO canisters. Steel rather than plastic means it shrugs off knocks that would crack a tube at the joint, and the telescoping action lets each user set a comfortable working height instead of stooping to a fixed one.
SEBO lists this tube at position 39 in the AIRBELT D parts diagram and position 50 in the AIRBELT K diagram, so anyone working from either schematic can order straight against it. The neighbouring positions tell you what else makes up the wand: the sliding knob you push with your thumb is 6425ER, the catch it works against inside the tube is 6238ER, and the fitting neck at the tool end is 1736GS. All three carry exactly the same machine fitment as the tube itself, which makes them the natural companions when a wand is being rebuilt rather than replaced whole.
Change the wand when it is dented, bent, or when the sections no longer slide and hold cleanly. A tube that has been stood on will bind at one point in its travel; one that has been dropped on its end often refuses to seat properly in the floor tool. Where the tube is sound but the length will not hold, the fault is almost always the catch rather than the steel, and 6238ER is the smaller repair. At the far end of the hose, the matching gray black handle grip is 6300GS and its retaining ring is 6303GS.
