Thru-Flo Motor - Lamb 2 Sta...

Product details

Part 116227-00 is a two-stage thru-flow Lamb motor in the 5.7-inch frame, wired with a five-wire, two-speed harness, and it fits the Lamb 8570. Thru-flow means the working airstream passes over the motor and cools it, which is why the wiring and the fan are matched to the machine they came from.

Two-speed operation gives the operator a lower setting for delicate work and full power for carpet. When the motor is failing the usual signs are a drop in suction, a high-pitched whine or grinding, a burning smell, sparking visible at the housing, or one speed dropping out entirely.

The five-wire harness matters as much as the frame size, so count the leads on your existing motor and check the number stamped on it before ordering. Disconnect power before you start.
