The Titan pet tool, part 591012116, is the attachment for lifting fur out of fabric on the T9000 and T9500 canister vacuums. It pushes onto the hose or wand and is shaped for the one job a plain suction nozzle handles badly.
Pet hair does not sit on upholstery so much as weave into it, and suction alone will not release it. A pet tool works the hair loose as it passes, so a cushion comes clean in a stroke or two rather than a dozen. Sofas, carpeted stairs and the back seat of the car are where it earns its place.
This is the Titan replacement for the T9000 and T9500. If your original has cracked at the neck, lost its insert, or simply disappeared, this restores the same fit on the hose as the tool the machine shipped with.
