This TurboCat T210 seal maintains the airtight boundary inside the air-driven turbine powerhead, keeping airflow routed through the turbine instead of leaking out around the housing or shaft. Since the TurboCat converts vacuum airflow into mechanical brushroll rotation, a good seal is directly responsible for how hard the brushroll drives into the carpet.
Part #7223 is the correct seal for the T210 / TP210 turbine nozzle. A flattened, torn, or hardened seal lets air escape, weakening turbine speed and agitation — replacing it restores full sealed performance. It seats in its original groove for a clean, leak-free fit.
