Returns & Exchanges

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

This 30-foot light gray hose carries both suction and electrical power to a motorized power nozzle through its own direct-connect fitting, so there is no separate pigtail cord to plug in at the wall inlet. Dealer part indexes list 30042 as a dual-volt hose carrying both 110 volt and 24 volt lines with a three-way switch at the handle, which selects off, the power unit alone, or the power unit together with the power nozzle.

Direct-connect wall inlets and hoses are not universal across every central vacuum brand, the contacts and pin layout at the wall end have to match your specific inlet for the electrical circuit to complete, so confirm your inlet is a direct-connect style before ordering rather than assuming any dual-volt hose will work. A hose with the wrong contact layout may still pull suction while the power nozzle simply never turns on.

The hose is listed at the 1-3/8 inch fitting size, so measure your inlet and wand before ordering rather than going by brand. The crushproof outer wall holds its shape and shrugs off everyday kinks, keeping both suction and the electrical connection intact across the full 30-foot length. Keep the wired handle end away from sharp folds when coiling the hose for storage, since a repeatedly crushed bend is the most common place for the internal wiring to eventually fail.
