Where a branch needs to tie into a central vacuum trunk without a hard right angle, a Y-shaped wye solves it by entering at 45 degrees instead of 90. Part TF5525BV is that shape, molded in white 2 in. PVC with three female sockets.

Debris joining from the branch enters closer to the direction the main line is already flowing at a 45-degree wye than it would through a 90-degree tee, which is usually why installers reach for a wye at a busy junction. Cement each socket to 2 in. central vacuum pipe with a solvent weld made for that purpose.

Fix the fitting's rotation before the cement grabs, since a wye pointed the wrong way cannot be twisted back into position once it sets. Dry-fit the pipe into all three sockets first and turn the wye to the orientation you actually need, then pull it apart, apply cement, and reassemble it quickly, since PVC solvent weld begins to set within seconds.
