Product details

The Vaculine Short 90-Degree Elbow, part 765506W, is a tight-radius PVC fitting built for one specific job: turning the pipe run immediately behind an inlet valve's mounting plate. A short elbow has less room inside the bend than a long-sweep elbow, which means more resistance to airflow and a tighter path for anything moving through it.

That tighter path is exactly why it belongs only at the very start of a run, right where an object too large for the rest of the pipe would otherwise jam. Using a short elbow further down the line, where debris is already moving at speed through the system, raises the chance of a clog at that bend instead of preventing one.

Install it with PVC cement at both the fitting-to-fitting and fitting-to-pipe joints for a permanent, leak-free connection, and confirm your pipe diameter and system layout before ordering, since central vacuum PVC comes in more than one size.

Dry-fit the elbow before cementing anything, checking the angle and orientation against the inlet's mounting plate, since PVC cement sets fast enough that there is little room to correct a misaligned joint once it is applied.

  • Part: 765506W, Vaculine short 90-degree elbow
  • Use: immediately behind an inlet valve's mounting plate, start of the pipe run only
  • Material: PVC, cement-fit
  • Before ordering: verify your system's pipe diameter
