The VacuMaid DC1200AC is a 12-inch dirt canister and cyclonic separator designed to pair with single-motor central vacuum power units. It mounts below the motor pod to collect dirt and debris, using cyclonic action to spin larger particles down into the canister before the air reaches the motor.
This separation keeps the bulk of collected debris out of the motor airstream, which helps protect the motor, maintain consistent suction, and reduce filter clogging over time. The 12-inch canister provides ample capacity for whole-home cleaning, and is commonly paired with VacuMaid motor pods such as the S2700/S2720 series to build a complete split power-unit system.
