This white utility valve is a replacement connection valve for Eureka central vacuum systems. Utility valves give you a spot to plug the hose directly into the system, and like every central vacuum inlet they rely on a clean-closing door and an intact seal to keep the whole installation airtight.
When a valve ages, the symptoms are easy to spot. The hose fits loosely, the cover no longer snaps shut, or you hear air hissing at the connection while vacuuming elsewhere in the house. Any of those leaks bleeds suction from every inlet on the line, so replacing a worn valve is one of the simplest ways to bring a central vacuum back to full strength.
The white finish suits most standard installations. Match it to your existing Eureka valves and wall plates so the replacement blends in with the rest of the system.
