Returns & Exchanges

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.

Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Product details

The handle wire and plug assembly for the Hoover 1100, part 012697HE. It runs the supply up through the handle and terminates in the plug that feeds the switch and the motor circuit.

Handle wiring flexes every time the machine is steered, and after enough years the insulation cracks where it bends hardest. The early sign is intermittent power: the vacuum cuts out and comes back when the handle is moved, or it works only with the cord held at a certain angle. The late sign is exposed copper, and that is a stop-using-it fault rather than a wait-and-see one.

A new wire and plug assembly restores a sound, insulated connection through the handle. Unplug the machine before starting, and note how the old loom is routed so the new one sits clear of the pivot.
