This replacement Royal Style 6 flat belt fits the MVP upright. The belt links the motor to the brush roll, turning the roller so it can sweep dirt from carpet.
A worn belt stretches and slips, and the brush roll slows or stops turning while the motor runs on. A burning-rubber smell is a clear sign the belt has failed and needs immediate replacement. A fresh belt restores full brush-roll speed and sweeping action.
