Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

The Hoover bottom plate (part #440010755) is a 14-inch plate that fits the U7069 and the C1800. This genuine OEM plate covers the underside of the cleaning head and helps maintain proper airflow and brush clearance.
A cracked or missing bottom plate exposes the brushroll area and can break the seal that keeps suction at the floor. Damage here often comes from constant floor contact over time. Fitting a sound plate restores proper sealing and consistent pickup.
