We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. The bottom plate is the black molding that closes the underside of a Filter Queen AT1100 power nozzle. Ordered as part 4229002801, it holds the brush roll in its channel and gives the head the flat face it rides on across carpet and hard floor.
Plates wear from the outside in. The leading edge scrapes thin, the plastic warps where it has run hot against a rug, and screw bosses split so the plate no longer sits flush. Once it lifts even slightly the nozzle loses its seal against the floor, hair works up into the gap, and the head starts to snag or skate instead of gliding.
Change it with the nozzle upside down on a bench. It is the natural moment to clear the brush roll ends of wound thread and look at the belt.
