This Brush Cam with Screw is a replacement actuating cam for the Windsor Versamatic upright, supplied with its mounting screw. The cam works within the brush roll drive area, translating motion so the brush roll engages and operates correctly against the carpet.
A worn or cracked brush cam, or a loose or missing screw, keeps the brush roll from engaging reliably, which shows up as poor agitation and thin cleaning on carpet. Wear at the cam contact points is the usual cause. Installing a fresh cam and screw restores proper brush roll action and full carpet grooming.
