Kenmore 31510 Robot Vacuum ...

Product details

The dust bin is where everything a Kenmore 31510 robot vacuum collects ends up before it reaches the filter. Part 611006112 replaces that bin on both the 31510 and 31510.1, and because it comes out for every single emptying, it takes more daily handling than any other piece on the machine.

Repeated handling is exactly why bins wear out. A corner takes a knock against a counter edge, a latch tab fatigues and snaps after enough open-and-close cycles, or the shell develops a stress fracture along one seam. Once the shell is compromised, fine dust works its way back out onto the floor the robot just finished, and a latch that no longer seats fully can leave the bin sitting a hair off-center from the inlet, which bleeds away suction without any obvious symptom to point to.

  • Part: dust bin, part 611006112
  • Fits: Kenmore 31510 and 31510.1 robot vacuum
  • Function: collects debris and holds the filter between empties
  • Tip: listen for a solid click when you seat the bin, since a latch that does not fully engage lets dust bypass the filter chamber

Confirm the model badge on the underside of your unit reads 31510 or 31510.1 before you order, since this bin is confirmed for those two models only. A bin that no longer seats fully can also make a faint rattle whenever the robot crosses a threshold, an early tell before any crack becomes visible. Once it is fitted, empty and wipe it out on whatever schedule you kept for the old one, and clean around the opening at the same time so it keeps seating and sealing the way it should.
