Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part 5346923 is a screw-on outer cloth shell with a double zipper, built for Sanitaire and Eureka SC688 commercial uprights and also listed for the Sanitaire SC889A. It is made to run Type ST inner paper bags, so the shell stays mounted on the machine and a normal cleaning schedule only calls for swapping the paper insert. Check the type marking on the bag you are replacing rather than matching by eye, since inner bags of similar size are not always the same style.
Having a zipper at each end turns loading a fresh inner bag into a one-handed task instead of feeding it through a single opening while the other hand holds the shell propped open. Swap the shell itself once either zipper starts skipping teeth, once the fabric has darkened and stiffened from years of trapped dust, or once a seam gives way, since any one of those lets dust slip past the bag and quietly costs suction well before the machine seems obviously broken.
Confirm the mounting neck on your machine matches this screw-on style before ordering, since Sanitaire fielded more than one bag mount across its commercial upright range over the years, and a shell threaded onto the wrong style neck will never hold a tight seal no matter how new it is.
Check both zippers and the mounting collar together whenever suction drops on a machine with years of daily commercial use behind it, since a worn thread on the neck is just as likely a culprit as a failed zipper.
