This is the genuine Eureka Sanitaire chrome metal bag top clip, used to seal the top of a shake-out cloth dust bag on commercial upright vacuums. The clip pinches the gathered top of the reusable cloth bag closed so debris stays contained while you vacuum, then opens to let you empty (shake out) and reseal the bag for reuse. The chrome-plated metal construction holds tension far better than worn or bent original clips.
A loose or broken bag clip is a common cause of dust leaking from the top of the bag. Replacing it restores a clean, secure seal.
