We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Part 440003857 is the brush block assembly for the Hoover steam vacuum carpet washers listed below, the removable module that carries the brush bar through the cleaning path and drives it against the carpet.
It fits the FH50130, FH50134, FH50134V, FH50135, FH50135V, FH50136, FH50136V, FH50140, FH50150, FH50151, FH50152 and FH50153, along with the Royal FR50152.

- Watch for: hair and carpet fiber wrapping around the brush shaft, which drags on the block's bearings over time
- Replace when: the block is cracked at its mounts or the brush inside is matted and no longer agitates the pile
A cracked or worn block lets the brush ride unevenly against the carpet, so pickup drops on one side of the nozzle even though the motor and pump are both fine. Debris wrapped tightly around the shaft has the same effect, slowing the brush's rotation without stalling it outright, which is easy to miss until you compare cleaning results side to side. Pull the block and check it for wrap before assuming the block itself has failed. Match your model number against the list above before ordering, since the numbers in this family differ from one another only by a suffix and are easy to misread.
