We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. This upholstery tool, part 304593001, is built for Hoover steam vacuum models, giving the machine a narrow flat nozzle for sofas, mattress seams and stair upholstery that the main floor head cannot reach into.
It is listed for the Hoover F5857900, F5866900, F5867900, F5883960, F5884980, F5912900 and F5914900, the FH50134, FH50135 and FH50136 in base and V variants, the FH50210, FH50220, FH50221, FH50222, FH50225, FH50230 and FH50240, the FH50250, FH50251, FH50253PC, FH50256PC, FH50258 and FH50259CDI with their V variants, and the Royal FR50152.
Because this tool works wet, the failure pattern differs from a dry-vacuum upholstery tool: the felt or brush edge around the opening wears down with repeated passes over fabric, and the seal at the hose connection can weep water at the joint once it hardens or cracks. Either shows up as reduced pickup on upholstery even though the machine's suction is unchanged.
Check the seal at the hose connection whenever you notice water tracking down the outside of the hose during a job, since that is usually the first visible sign the seal has hardened rather than a problem with the tank or the pump. Replacing the tool as a unit resolves both the seal and the worn edge at once.
