We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Product details
The nozzle housing is the lower cleaning head of the vacuum, the moulded shell that carries the brushroll and channels air across the floor. This one, part 440012173, fits the Hoover UH70100 and UH70120 uprights and the CH53010.
Housings crack from impact, usually at a corner or around a mounting boss, and the damage matters more than it looks. The head only pulls hard because it is sealed. Open a path anywhere along it and air takes the shortcut instead of coming up through the carpet, so suction at the nozzle falls away while the motor sounds completely normal.
A sound housing restores that sealed path. With the head apart, it is worth checking the belt and the brushroll bearings before you close everything back up.
