We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous United States. Eligibility is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax.

Returns & Exchanges

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.

Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Part 034439 is the bottom plate retainer spring for the Hoover Model 65 and the Hoover 1030, holding the bottom plate shut against the nozzle housing.

Once this spring weakens or breaks, the bottom plate stops staying shut on its own, leaving the brush roll uncovered and letting air leak past the point where the nozzle is meant to seal against the floor. A plate that will not latch gets blamed on the nozzle itself more often than not, when the small spring behind it is the actual, far cheaper cause. Putting in a fresh one brings the tension back so the plate clicks shut and stays there.
