We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. This is the right-hand release latch for the recovery tank on Hoover SteamVac carpet cleaners, part 440007360, finished in satin silver and also catalogued as 522194001. It is the catch on one side of the dirty water tank that holds the tank down on the machine.
Latches break because they are operated with a full, heavy tank in hand, often with wet fingers. Once one side has snapped, the tank rocks in place, lifts at a corner while you are cleaning, and can drop off the machine as you carry it. It also stops sealing properly, which is where the smell of an old SteamVac usually comes from.
This is the right-hand latch, and it fits SteamVac models across the F5800 and F5900 ranges, from the F5805 and F5815 through the F5858, F5863 and F5888 machines to the F5900-900 and F5915-900. Check the left-hand catch while you are there.
