Product details
This two-pack, part B014-6900, includes two drive belts matched to the Carpet Pro CPU-250, its CPU-350 sibling, the Titan T3200 upright, and the S20EZM badge shared by Fuller Brush, Riccar and Simplicity. Install one now and keep the spare on a shelf for whenever the first belt gives out, which on a light machine tends to be sooner than owners expect.
A lightweight upright rarely gives warning before its belt lets go. It stretches, the roller starts turning behind the motor's pace, and instead of lifting debris out of the pile the head just pushes it along the surface. Once slip gets bad enough, a scorched-rubber odor builds around the nozzle within a couple of minutes of running, and that smell is a reason to shut the machine off rather than push through the rest of the room.
Reaching the belt means removing the bottom plate to expose the motor shaft and brush roll together. Loop the new belt around both, give the roller a full turn by hand before the housing goes back on, and make sure it runs without drag at either bearing. A roller that resists a fresh belt from the start will wear it out on the same schedule as the one it replaced.
