The filter cover on the Titan T3200 bagged upright is the panel that holds the filter in its recess, and this is the replacement, part B283-0110. It also fits the Simplicity and Riccar S20EZM.
It is handled every time the filter is checked, which is why it breaks: clips snap, the tab you lever it off with tears, and a cover that no longer latches sits proud of the housing. The consequence is not cosmetic. If the filter is not held flat against its seat, air takes the easier route around it, carrying fine dust past the media and on toward the motor, and the exhaust starts smelling dusty a few days after a filter change.
A cover that clips down properly puts the pressure back on the filter and keeps that stage doing its job.
