We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous United States. Eligibility is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax.

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Part 83001-01 is the main suction motor for the Oreck Magnesium upright range: the LW100, the LW1500RS and the UK30500. It is the most expensive component in the machine and, on a vacuum people tend to keep for a decade or more, usually the one that decides whether it gets repaired or replaced.
Motors give plenty of warning. Suction falls off even with a clear airway and a fresh bag. The pitch changes to a grinding or a scream as the bearings dry out. The machine gets hot, smells of hot varnish, and starts shutting itself down mid-clean. Sometimes it simply refuses to start while everything else in the machine tests fine.
Unplug the vacuum before you go anywhere near the motor housing. If you are not comfortable working inside the machine, this is a job worth handing to a service technician.
