We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. This PCB service kit, part 430000280, supplies the replacement control board for Oreck UK30270, UK30300, UK30300COM and UK30300PC upright vacuums. Electronic faults imitate mechanical ones closely, which is why a machine with a failed board is so often diagnosed as having a failed motor.
A board that has stopped working reliably usually shows up as inconsistent power, lights that will not respond to the switch, or a vacuum that will not start at all despite a good motor and cord. Testing the electronics before condemning a motor can save an expensive and unnecessary swap. Boards can also fail intermittently, which is often more frustrating to chase down than an outright dead one, since the machine may run fine for a while before cutting out again.
Installing a control board kit is precision work compared to most vacuum repairs: static discharge and forced connectors can damage a good board before it ever gets tested. Take the same care you would with any circuit board, and match the connector orientation of the old board when wiring in the replacement.
