Product details
The printed circuit board in ProTeam's ProForce 1500XP family of commercial uprights is part 104226, the main electronics package inside these otherwise mechanical machines.
Board failures follow a familiar sequence for anyone who has serviced enough of these machines. Start by ruling out the obvious: plug in a known-good cord, confirm the breaker trips and resets cleanly, and check for switch continuity at the terminals with a multimeter. When the vacuum still starts sporadically, dies mid-task, or will not power on at all after each of those checks comes back clean, the board itself is what is left to blame. Heat cycling under sustained commercial use and the constant low-level vibration these machines absorb both take a toll on solder joints over the years, and pulling the board frequently reveals a scorched trace or a joint that has separated from repeated flexing.
This board fits the ProForce 1200XP, ProForce 1500XP, ProForce 1500, and ProForce 1500 HEPA, along with the ProCare 15XP. Cross-check the full model number stamped on your machine's rating plate before ordering, since the family name alone is not enough to confirm which board a given machine originally shipped with. When the old board comes out, photograph the wiring before disconnecting anything and transfer the connections one at a time, so nothing ends up on the wrong terminal when the new board goes in.
