ProTeam's ProForce uprights use a safety interlock switch that has to be made up before the machine will run. It is a small electrical part with an outsized effect: when it fails, or its actuator no longer engages, the vacuum simply will not start, or it cuts out when the housing shifts during use. Operators usually blame the cord or the main switch first.
Part 104283 is the replacement interlock for that circuit, built to the original dimensions and terminal layout so the existing wiring reconnects without splicing.
It fits the ProTeam 1200XP and 1500XP, the ProForce 1200XP, ProForce 1500, ProForce 1500XP and ProForce 1500 HEPA uprights. Unplug the machine before opening the housing, and note how the harness routes so the new switch goes back in the same orientation.
