We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Where a ProTeam upright's power cord passes into the housing, a strain relief clasp absorbs every pull and tug on the cord instead of the wire connections sitting just behind it. Part 105091 is the replacement clasp for that entry point on the 1500XP and its close relatives.
Once this clasp cracks or its grip loosens, the cord is free to shift back and forth through the housing every time it gets tugged during normal use. That repeated flexing fatigues the copper right where it enters the machine, and the result ranges from a connection that cuts in and out to, in a worse case, insulation wearing through right where the cord enters the housing. Neither outcome is one to leave alone once cord play at the entry point becomes noticeable, and a cord that has developed even a little give rarely settles down on its own with continued use.
Fits the ProTeam 1200XP, ProForce 1200XP HEPA, ProForce 1500, 1500XP, and ProForce 1500XP HEPA, as well as the SHV100 Super Half Vac plus the Super Coach Pro 6 and Pro 10 backpack vacuums. Disconnect the machine from power first, and once the new clasp is fitted, make sure the cord sits fully seated before closing the housing back up so nothing gets pinched.
