Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

The Sanitaire SC886G is a 12-inch commercial upright vacuum built by Eureka for facilities that run long cleaning routes between bag changes. A 7-amp motor drives the cleaning head, and the 18-quart shake-out bag means far fewer emptying stops during a shift, which matters most in venues with continuous open floor space like schools, offices, and event spaces.
The 18-quart capacity here is a reusable shake-out cloth bag, not a disposable liner, a deliberate choice on Sanitaire's Tradition series. There is nothing to buy or restock over the machine's working life; the bag empties by shaking it out and goes straight back into service. The tradeoff is honest: emptying a shake-out bag is a dustier job than dropping a sealed disposable in the trash, so it suits back-of-house routes and crews who empty outdoors or into a dumpster more than it suits dust-sensitive settings.
At 12 inches, the cleaning path splits the difference between the tighter maneuverability a narrower head offers around furniture and doorways and the coverage speed a wider path provides on open carpet. It is the width Sanitaire has used across much of its commercial upright line for exactly that reason.
Choosing between a 12-inch commercial upright and one of Sanitaire's wider or narrower models mostly comes down to the floor plan you are cleaning. A 12-inch path like the SC886G's is the middle ground Sanitaire built most of its commercial line around, wide enough to move through open areas efficiently while still fitting comfortably around desks, chairs, and doorframes without constant repositioning.
