SEBO Sensor for the 300 and...

Product details
SEBO fits a small sensor to the brush roller side of the drive on its 300 MECHANICAL and 350 MECHANICAL uprights, and part 50445ER is that component supplied as a genuine SEBO replacement. It reports on brush roller operation back to the machine's control circuit, which is how a 300 or a 350 knows whether the roller is turning rather than stalled under a carpet fringe.
Because it reports rather than drives, a failed sensor rarely announces itself in an obvious way. What shows up instead is an indication that does not match what the roller is doing, or behavior that changes for no reason the rest of the machine explains. It pays to work through the drive in order before condemning the sensor. On these uprights the drive belt is part 5110, and the sensor pulley and motor pulley are supplied together as the matched set 5117/1, so a roller that genuinely will not turn usually has its fault in one of those. When the roller spins freely and the machine still reports otherwise, 50445ER is the part to change.

A search for a SEBO 300 sensor, a 350 MECHANICAL sensor replacement or plainly SEBO part 50445ER lands on this same item. With the machine already apart it is sensible to look over the service items that suit the 300 and 350 MECHANICAL as well: the eight-bag filter bag box 5093AM, microfilter 5036AM and the HEPA microfilter 5812ER.
