Product details

The Titan TCS-8575 is a central vacuum power unit, and this is the filter that sits inside it, ordered as part 8107-12. It is the barrier between everything the system pulls out of the house and the motor at the top of the canister.

Central vacuum filters fail quietly. Nothing breaks; the media simply loads up with fine dust until air can no longer pass through it freely. What you notice is at the other end of the pipe, where inlets that used to pick up grit now leave it behind, and the power unit runs hotter and louder than it used to because it is straining against a blocked filter. Fine dust that gets past a torn or collapsed filter goes straight into the motor windings, which is a far more expensive repair.

Fitting a fresh filter is a no-tools job on the TCS-8575 and it restores airflow across every inlet in the house at once.
