Black cherry moulding 6680SR1 is one of the few top casings SEBO catalogues across two machines, covering both the AIRBELT K2 KOMBI and the AIRBELT K3 PREMIUM. It occupies position 24 on the AIRBELT K parts sheet and is supplied with the item SEBO notes in brackets as 25 — the 6625ER catch and screw that hold the 6627GS upholstery nozzle on the body.

Think of the panel as the lid of the whole machine. Everything under it, from the bag chamber through to the motor cover, is registered by the screws and clips that land in this moulding. When it splits, the parts below stop being held to the right depth: the joint line opens, the casing clips let go, and the tool catch loses its angle. A new shell resets that geometry, and because it is supplied with the catch there is no second order to place when the clip has snapped too.
