This replacement Power Cord is a 40-foot yellow cord in an 18-gauge, 3-wire build for Carpet Pro commercial uprights. It fits the CPU2 (serial numbers before 9C007576), CPU85, CPU85T, CPU75, and CPU75T, and replaces Carpet Pro part CP-30101.
An upright's cord flexes at the strain relief and drags behind the machine on every pass, so it frays and cracks there first. A cord with exposed conductors, intermittent power, or a stiff, brittle jacket should be replaced immediately to avoid shock or fire. Fitting the correct cord restores a safe, reliable power connection and keeps the machine cleaning without interruption.
