Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Black moulding, roughly thumb-sized, that snaps into the lower rear face of the bag housing and takes the weight of a stowed cleaning tool. SEBO's exploded drawing for the AUTOMATIC X4 shows it at position 43, and the same black clip appears on more than one of the company's parts sheets.
Once the sprung tab has worn or cracked, the tool sits loose in its cradle, rattles on the move and works its way free without being noticed. The failure is fatigue rather than impact damage: the clip spends its life under slight deflection, and the material eventually stops springing back. A clip that has gone is worth replacing promptly, since a tool that falls off in a corridor or on a stair is rarely found before something rolls over it.
