Part 5703SW is the black cord hook used on black-bodied AUTOMATIC X4 uprights and on the X7 Pet — the catch on the upper body that the mains lead is wound onto.
Machines bought for animal hair see more of this part than most. A pet vacuum gets carried from room to room and has its cord unwound and rewound several times in a session rather than being plugged in and left alone, and all of that handling is what wears a hook out. Once one fails, the wrap comes undone as soon as the machine is lifted, leaving the lead loose on the floor to be stepped on or run over, so this is a part worth having spare.
