The brush carriage on a Big Green is held in by a clip, and 2037470 is that clip. It is confirmed for the 86T3 Big Green Machine Professional and its 86T32, 86T38, 86T3F, 86T3Q and 86T3V variants, and our fitment data covers the 40M1, 3288, 10N2 and BG10 as well.
Clips break where they flex, and on a machine whose carriage is dropped out regularly for belt and brush changes that is a question of when rather than whether. With the clip gone the carriage sits loose in the foot, the brush chatters against the housing, and the belt starts wandering off its pulley because nothing is holding the assembly square any more.
It goes on by hand and costs a fraction of the carriage it holds, which makes a spare worth keeping if the machine works for a living.
