Bissell Nozzle Sleeve Hose ...

Product details

The nozzle sleeve hose is the short flexible section carrying recovered water from the nozzle back into the machine, and part 2037457 replaces it. It is confirmed for the 86T3 Big Green Clean Machine, the 10N2, the BG10, the 40M1 and 3288, and for the Sanitaire SC6100A upright carpet extractor.

It flexes every time the machine is tilted, so it perishes at the ends and splits along the crease where it doubles over. A split here sits upstream of the tank, which means the machine happily draws room air and leaves the water down in the carpet. Owners usually describe it as suction going soft for no obvious reason.

Look inside the sleeve for a packed plug of hair and fiber while it is off the machine. A blockage reads exactly like a split from behind the handle.
