Solution reaches the carpet through the spray tip, and 2037430 supplies the tip together with the screw that retains it. Our fitment data covers the Bissell Big Green machines: 86T3, 40M1, 3288, BG10 and the 10N2 commercial extractor.
Tips block with mineral scale rather than dirt. As the orifice narrows the fan pattern breaks up into a jet or a dribble, and the tell-tale is a strip of carpet coming up visibly cleaner than the strip beside it. Machines run on hard water reach that point far sooner than machines run on softened or distilled water.
Because the screw is included, the tip can be pulled and refitted properly rather than forced. If your machine carries more than one tip, change them as a set: a mismatched pair lays solution down unevenly no matter how good the new one is.
