Bissell Dirty Tank Crosswav...

Product details

Dirty tank seal for the Bissell CrossWave, part 1612070. It seals the recovery tank, the tank that takes back the dirty water the machine lifts off the floor, and it is all that stands between that water and the inside of the machine.

Seals harden with age. One that has gone stiff or taken a set no longer follows the tank rim, and you get dirty water weeping down the outside of the tank, a machine that stops recovering water properly, and a smell that survives every rinse because residue is sitting behind the seal where nothing reaches it.

It fits the CrossWave 1785, 2306 and 2328. Rinse the seal and its groove after each use and let both dry, since solution left drying on rubber is what makes it go hard in the first place.
